KINC CREATES A THEMED CUSTOM CHAIR CELEBRATING MARSHALL FIELD'S

THE COMMUNICATION CHALLENGE
How do you make a charity-worthy chair that features all the iconic objects of Chiago's oldest department store, but is still pretty darn comfy?

THE DESIGN SOLUTION
For Marshall Field's contribution to Chicago's annual Celebrity Chair Auction Kinc designed a loveseat of two Frango Mints falnking Field's unmistakeable State Street clock.

Great idea! Now how do we build it?

KINC COMES TO THE RESCUE
First, Kinc's artists built an exact replica of the State Street clock with a faux finish patina.  The 'clock" was flanked by two brown velvet "Frango Mint" candy cushions.  A special material was emblazoned with the Frango logo, and softened with heat before being pleated into the classic candy-wrapper shape.  At the request of the client, a handmade replica of Field’s 1940’s-era holiday character 'Uncle Mistletoe' capped off the entire creation.
